Anchor is a collegiate ministry located in Edmond at the University of Central Oklahoma. We are passionate about students falling in love with Jesus, understanding who God is, and who He has designed them to be. Our mission is to see students ignited with a contagious passion to share the gospel all over the world from the power and overflow of Christ in them. We are encouraging students to walk deeply in relationship with Jesus, equipping students to share their faith fearlessly, and serving the community and all the nations that it represents. We envision students growing deep roots in their faith gaining a biblical perspective of everyday life to see their entire life as a mission field from their college experience to their future prospective careers.
Some practical steps Anchor will be taking is walking with students in basic scripture study, discipleship, supportive community through surrounding local church bodies, persistent prayer, and evangelistic outreach. There's much more to Anchor's vision for the campus at the University of Central Oklahoma and its students.
